Cocktail Ingredients

  • 2 oz gin

  • 0.75 oz St-Germain (elderflower liqueur)

  • 2–3 oz club soda (to top)

  • 6–8 fresh mint leaves

  • 1 lemon slice (plus optional extra for garnish)

  • Ice

Instructions

Lightly smack the mint leaves between your palms to release the aroma, then place them in a shaker or mixing glass.

  1. Add the gin, St-Germain, and ice. Stir gently (don’t aggressively muddle the mint).

  2. Strain into an ice-filled highball or stemmed glass.

  3. Top with club soda and give a soft stir.

  4. Slip the lemon slice onto the rim or float it on top.

  5. Garnish with an extra mint sprig if you’d like.

Mocktail Ingredients

  • 3 oz chilled mint tea (strong-brewed)

  • 2–3 oz soda water (to top)

  • 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice (about a squeeze)

  • 1 lemon slice (for garnish)

  • Ice

Instructions

Brew mint tea, let it cool, and chill it in the fridge.

  1. Fill a glass with ice and pour in the chilled mint tea.

  2. Add the fresh lemon juice and stir gently.

  3. Top with soda water and give a soft swirl.

  4. Garnish with a lemon slice (and a mint sprig if you have one).
