Velvet Old Fashioned

Cocktail Ingredients

• Bourbon

• simple syrup

• bitters

• orange peel

Instructions

1. In a rocks glass, add ¼ oz simple syrup and 2–3 dashes bitters.

2. Add a large ice cube (or a few solid cubes).

3. Pour in 2 oz bourbon.

4. Stir gently for 20–30 seconds until chilled and means slightly diluted.

5. Express the orange peel over the glass by twisting it to release the oils, then drop it in as garnish.

Mocktail Ingredients

• Black tea

• NA bitters

• orange

• Simple syrup

Instructions

1. Brew black tea strong and allow it to cool.

2. In a rocks glass, add ¼ oz simple syrup (if using) and 2–3 dashes NA bitters.

3. Add a large ice cube (or a few solid cubes).

4. Pour in 2 oz cooled black tea.

5. Stir gently for 20–30 seconds until chilled.

6. Express an orange peel over the glass to release the oils, then garnish.
